Once people find out that I am a personal trainer, their opinions of me change. They think, yeah, she’s capable of great things, but she’ll never find a real man. “What men want is a sweet little girl with soft curves, not a tough girl with a six pack.”

It is a dream of mine to change that. I want young girls to see me and decide that, yes, they can be great at sport, they can lift weights, they can be athletes and they can still be sweet, they can still be seductive, they can still be attractive to men, they can be anything they want. Weight loss magazines preach low carbs and cardio to lose weight, but don’t say anything about lifting to lose. I don’t want young girls to be afraid of the weight room.
